Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Introduction

At Webwise Innovations, we value transparency, fairness, and clarity.
Because we provide digital services that require time, creativity, expertise, and manpower, our refund policy explains exactly when a client can or cannot receive a refund.

This policy has been written in simple, easy-to-understand language so that every client regardless of background understands how refunds work.

1. Understanding How Our Work Functions Before explaining refunds, it is important to understand how digital service projects work. When a client pays us, we immediately begin preparing resources, such as: Assigning team members Conducting research Brainstorming ideas Preparing drafts Setting up project files Scheduling your order Reviewing your requirements Even if you do not see the work immediately, work begins internally as soon as we start the process. Because the services we offer are custom-made, time and expertise are invested right from the beginning. For this reason, refunds follow strict rules.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are only granted under specific conditions. This ensures fairness to both the client and the team.

1. If No Work Has Started (Full Refund Possible)

You may receive a full refund only if absolutely no work has started on your project.
“No work” means:

  • No research
  • No concepts or drafts
  • No planning
  • No ideation
  • No communication relating to project execution
  • No preparation of project structure

If even the smallest internal work has begun, a refund cannot be issued.

Example:
You pay for a logo design today, but later decide you don’t want it.
If our designers have not yet started the brainstorming stage, you qualify for a full refund.

Cancellation Within 24 Hours (If Work Has Not Begun)

You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of payment, as long as work has not started.
This gives clients a grace period for accidental orders or quick change of plans.

3.Duplicate or Accidental Payments

If you mistakenly pay twice for the same service:

  • We will refund the extra payment in full

  • You will be notified

  • Confirmation will be sent once the refund is processed

This is valid only when the duplicate payment is verifiable.

4. If Webwise Innovations Fails to Deliver the Service

A refund may be granted if:

  • We fail to deliver the service completely

  • No part of the project was submitted

  • The delay is caused by us, not the client

However, the following situations do NOT count as “failure to deliver”:

  • Client did not send required materials

  • Client became unresponsive

  • Client provided incomplete information

  • Client changed the project scope

  • Client delayed feedback

  • Client stopped communicating

  • Client missed deadlines for review

In such cases, refunds cannot be issued.

Non-Refundable Conditions

To avoid misunderstandings, here are clear situations where refunds are not allowed.

5. When Work Has Already Started

The moment any form of work begins small or large the project becomes non-refundable.

This includes:

  • First draft

  • Early sketches

  • Mockups

  • Website wireframes

  • Strategy outlines

  • Content drafts

  • Research summaries

  • SEO reports

  • Resume first drafts

  • Consultation sessions

Even if you:

  • Change your mind

  • No longer need the service

  • Choose another provider

A refund cannot be issued once work is delivered or started.

Digital Deliverables Cannot Be Returned

Digital products, once delivered, cannot be returned, because:

  • You already have access to the files

  • Digital files cannot be physically given back

  • Ownership shifts once delivered

  • There is no mechanism to “undo” delivery

This applies to:

  • Logo designs

  • Website files

  • Illustrations

  • Brand kits

  • Resume/CV drafts

  • Social media templates

  • Source files

  • PDF documents

  • Consulting notes

  • SEO analytics reports

Once these are sent, refunds cannot be provided.

Completed or Partially Completed Projects Are Not Refundable

If you have already received part of the service (e.g., a first draft), you cannot request a refund because:

  • Skilled labor has already been invested

  • Digital work cannot be “returned”

  • Time spent cannot be reversed

  • Intellectual effort has been used

However, you can request revisions based on your package.

Revision Policy vs Refund Policy

To avoid confusion:

  • Revisions fix or adjust the work

  • Refunds return your money

These two are not the same.

What You Are Entitled To

You are entitled to the number of revisions stated in:

  • Your package

  • Your invoice

  • Your agreement

We will gladly revise your work within the agreed limit.

What You Are Not Entitled To

  • Unlimited revisions

  • Refunds because you changed your mind

  • Refunds after receiving drafts

  • Refunds because the revision limit was reached

Revisions exist to perfect your project, not to replace refunds.

Refund Processing Time

If your refund qualifies under the rules above, the processing time is:

7–14 Business Days

This depends on:

  • Your bank

  • Your payment provider

  • Stripe/PayPal/Payoneer timelines

  • International transfer rules

Once the refund is processed, we will provide confirmation.
